Gratitude is one of the simplest ways to improve your energy in the immediate moment as well as ongoing. The basis is thought work and intention – two key areas of focus in my practice, that have incredible power to change your life. Gratitude is a state of mind as well as a feeling of thankfulness. It helps shift your focus to abundance, which helps you to begin to notice more of the positives in your life. When your view is more positive and focused in this way, your energy increases, and per the law of attraction, you attract more good things into your life! By simply thinking of all you can be grateful for, you can improve your circumstances – pretty awesome, right?
Benefits of Incorporating Gratitude into Your Daily Life
Our brains are designed to problem solve, not appreciate, and it tends to be easier to notice all the negative in our lives and hyper-fixate on those, completely overlooking all the positive. Staying in a state of negativity makes you feel bad, makes everything seem bad, and keeps you stuck (which can also lead to physical, mental, and energetic blockages, issues, and imbalances). With a little intention and shifting our focus to abundance, we can experience many of the following benefits:
Increased motivation
Improved sleep
Higher levels of confidence and self-esteem
Healthier relationships
Decreased negative emotions
Stress reduction
Increased spirituality (manifesting!)
